Overview of the menu tabs in Genetec Clearance™

The menu tabs in the Genetec Clearance™ system are always available, no matter where you are navigating throughout the user interface.

Watch this video to learn more. Click the Captions icon (CC) to turn on video captions in one of the available languages. If using Internet Explorer, the video might not display. To fix this, open the Compatibility View Settings and clear Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.

NOTE: Menu tab options in the left navigation bar are not displayed in the Home page for Guest user accounts.
A Home Click to open the home page.
B Search Click to view, search, and filter the complete list of cases and uploaded files. You can also open and modify existing files and cases.
C Cases Click to search for existing cases or create cases.
D Files Click to view, search, and filter the complete list of uploaded files. You can also open and modify existing files.
E Video editor Click to view the complete list of a user's editing projects. You can also search for, open, and modify redacted files.
F Recycle bin Click to view, search, and filter cases or files that are in the recycle bin.
G Configurations Click to view, search, and filter the complete list of users, groups, services, departments, categories, and devices. You can also add and modify any one of these entities or configure security policies, retention policies, account information, and report templates.
H Help Click to view the user guide documentation or create a support ticket.
I Account options Click the user ID to display additional account options:
  • Change account - Click to return to the log on screen to select another account.
  • Sign out - Click to log off.
