Testing the Axis W800 System Controller

After you have assigned all necessary cameras with users, you can test the Axis W800 System Controller with Genetec Clearance™ to ensure it and its associated cameras work as expected.

1. If you are using the fixed assignment setting, verify that the camera display or lights are green and that the camera is ready for use and can be removed from the dock.
   Note:

   Depending on the camera model, there can be either a display that lights up green or green lights that illuminate.
2. If you are using self-assign tags, tap a card on the reader and verify which camera is assigned to the user. The display or lights on the assigned camera turn green to indicate which camera you should undock.
3. Undock the camera. After undocking, the camera takes approximately one minute to start. The camera beeps two times when it is ready.
4. Tap the record button and verify that the camera starts recording.
5. Hold the record button again and verify that the camera stops recording.
6. When docked again, recordings are automatically transferred to Clearance and associated with the assigned user of the camera.
