To begin using the Genetec Clearance™ system, you must activate your account directly from the email that contained the invitation to join the site.

captions in one of the available languages. If using Internet Explorer, the video might
not display. To fix this, open the Compatibility View Settings
and clear Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.
Before you begin
Make sure that you have a secure connection to the web.
To activate your Genetec Clearance™
Sign in to your email account.
In your Invitation to join Genetec Clearance™ email, click Activate Account.
IMPORTANT: This e-mail is sent from
firstname.lastname@example.org to help administrators
setup their spam filters. If you do not have this email in either your Inbox
or Spam (or Junk) folders, contact your account administrator.
On the Genetec Clearance™ site, enter your email address and then click Login.
You are redirected to https://login.microsoftonline.com.
On https://login.microsoftonline.com, enter your temporary
password and then click Sign in.
If you cannot sign in, click Can't access your account?
to reset your password.
NOTE: If you are logging in using an Active Directory
account, contact your Active Directory system administrator for
Enter a password, and then click Update password and sign
The home page opens.
Your account is activated. You can begin using the system.
