About the Account administrators group

The Account administrators group grants trusted regular users access to the Configurations menu so that they can manage system settings, user and group provisioning, and account‑wide policies in Genetec Clearance™.

Best practice
Include only a small, trusted set of individuals who are accountable for Clearance
administration and
compliance in the Account
administrators group. Typical candidates include:
- System administrators or IT administrators responsible for user provisioning, device management, and integrations.
- Investigations program managers or compliance owners who set retention, security, and video request policies.
Note:
Guest users cannot be included in the Account
administrators group.
